Serving Greenville, SC

The 3 Series and 5 Series sedans are close siblings in today’s BMW line, and they both have unwavering appeal with exciting capabilities. However, the 3 Series is a compact executive sedan that differs considerably from the larger 5 Series sedan. Are you excited about comparing these beautiful sedans more closely and picking out your next luxury car from Century BMW?

Performance

The BMW 3 Series is available with two core models. Both of these models are outfitted with a TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine with X-Mode, and they both deliver 255 horsepower. The primary difference between the performance capabilities of these models is found in their drivetrain. One option has rear-wheel drive, and the other has all-wheel drive. The BMW 5 Series, on the other hand, is available with four core models. Two of the 5 Series models have the same engine that is in the 3 Series. The other 5 Series models come with a TwinPower Turbo I-6, 3.6-liter engine that generates 335 horsepower. The 5 Series is available with your choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The differences between the 2021 3 Series and 2021 5 Series extend throughout their appearance. These are both sultry, sleek models that seemingly glide over the road. The smaller 3 Series has a double-scalloped headlight design with a pulled look across the grille. The lower-front fascia is segmented into three parts, and it also has an extended look. The 5 Series has a similar lower-front fascia. However, the headlights have sharp corners through their LED ribbons, and the grille stands taller. In addition, a power vent is mounted near the front fender on the lower side panels.

Features

These sedans share some design cues and features inside their cabins. They both come with Apple CarPlay, premium materials, digital display screens for the gauges and infotainment systems, heated seats with powered adjustments, and a sunroof. They also have an exceptional array of assistive equipment. These could include blind-spot monitoring, a rear camera, lane keep assist, and others.
