In terms of its appearance, the 5 Series resembles a slightly more compact version of its larger, full size 7 Series sibling, but a larger, more muscular version of its smaller, 3 Series sports sedan. In handling and performance though, it's closer to the 3 series. A 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 in the 535i makes 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
