I have a BA in Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina. I moved into the auto industry a little over 2 years ago and am honored to work for such a prestigious brand.

        Hello, my name is Michael Pate. I began my automotive career after graduating Nashville Auto Diesel College  in 1986. I worked at two independent shops before being hired at Century BMW in April 1988. I am a Master BMW Technician, and serve as the Shop Foreman and Workshop Network Administrator. As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to work with cars, and this interest continues today. I greatly enjoy the challenges and satisfaction I get from working with Century BMW, and I truly believe I am fortunate to work with a company that has such high standards and integrity in every area. I have been happily married for eighteen years, and have three children,  two boys age 10 and a daughter age 14. I am a car buff by nature, and own two BMW's (as well as some other vehicles). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, especially while camping and boating. I can usually be found at home messing with my own cars and trucks. Additionally, I also enjoy building things like metal buildings, barn additions, camper sheds, and a playhouse, performing all the electrical wiring as well as drawing the plans and building the entire structures myself. And of course, my wife keeps me busy with home remodeling projects.

    Over the years, I have come to know many people who started off as customers that I now call friends. I enjoy being able to talk to our clients and love hearing that they can count on Century BMW to take care of their vehicles. After having worked here for the past 25 years, I look forward to many more years of service with this company. I believe that by every measure it's best place in the automobile industry to work!
