The longer an someone owns a vehicle, the greater the likelihood that they suffer the inconvenience of a flat tire. Depending on the type of vehicle, there may be a compact temporary or a full-size spare to use in the situation.
Donuts or compact tires are fully inflated and typically hidden in the lower trunk area of the vehicle. The tires are smaller in height and width compared to the vehicle's normal tires. As such, they are not designed to be used in speeds over 50 mph. They also have a very limited lifespan. Which means they are only created to get you to the closest service station to have the flat repaired or replaced.
Full-size spares are the same type of tire as the other four tires on the vehicle. Thus, there is no need to alter vehicle speed. Depending on the tread the tire has, it will also have a longer lifespan compared to a donut.
