BMW proved at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that they don't need to hedge their bets on the BMW i3. The car we featured in a recent blog post has won the 2015 Green Car of the Year award, and was a big hit at the CES when two couples took it for a test drive.
One couple was lucky enough to be blindfolded and allowed to drive around to demonstrate the braking system which can detect obstacles and possible dangers and then stop on its own. The other couple was able to see how with the touch of a button, the car can park itself. No need to wander aimlessly searching for a spot or passing up the perfect parallel spot, because this car has you covered.
Do these features sound useful to you, or do you think you might be a bit nervous to try them? Sometimes it can be difficult for drivers to relinquish control, which is perhaps the reason one couple was blindfolded. What do you think?
