Overall, the 2019 X5 offers a more powerful standard engine. However, the top-of-the-line engine from both models provides the same 0 to 60 performance times.

Appearance

The 2019 BMW X5 is highlighted by its iconic kidney grille flanked by sculpted LED daytime running lights. Along the sides of the X5, there are sleek lines between the wheel wells. Inside the X5, there is room for up to five adults and ample cargo room behind the second-row seats. The 2018 BMW X5 features the brand's kidney grille, and daytime LED running lights.
