What's New for the 2024 BMW X3?

The 2024 BMW X3 is perfectly designed and engineered with a balance of practical functionality, premium features, and excitement-inducing engineering. The primary difference between the 2024 X3's trims is in their engineering. A 248-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine moves the base sDrive30i trim. It comes with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The mid-level xDrive30i has the same engine and transmission, but it has standard all-wheel drive. The top M40i trim also has an eight-speed auto transmission with all-wheel drive. Under the hood, its V6, 3.0-liter engine features mild-hybrid technology and puts out 382 horsepower. This trim is also engineered with a performance rear differential. With the Dynamic Handling package, the 2024 BMW X3 is outfitted with adaptive steering, adaptive suspension with dampers, and upgraded brakes.

The features offered for the sDrive30i and xDrive30i are comparable. These standard and optional features may include a power liftgate, a push-button ignition, synthetic leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, a 12-speaker stereo system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a wireless internet connection, a 10.25-inch digital instrument screen, a panoramic sunroof, frontal collision mitigation, a lane departure warning, and a blind-spot alert.

The M40i trim level adds a 12.3-inch display screen, heated front seats, a head-up display, and a heated steering wheel. It also introduces automated parking, a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, leather upholstery, a Harman Kardon premium sound system with 16 speakers, a wireless charging pad, a drive recorder, remote engine start, rear window shades, and a few others.
