The Body Styles

The most popular style in the 3 Series is the sports sedan. Its design was well thought out as a model you could see a young professional or even a retiree behind the wheel of. Within the 3 Series sedan lineup there are several trims to choose from including the entry-level BMW 320i with a 2.0L engine with 180 horsepower all the way up to the 340i with a 3.0L turbo engine that has 320 horsepower and a 4.6 second 0-60 time.

Next is the sports wagon, and this style is popular with families who don't want to size up to an X Series sport activity vehicle (SAV), but still need room for kids, pets, and everyone's gear. Shopping for the wagon is straightforward. There's a gasoline or diesel engine to choose from, but both still deliver pleasing amounts of power for an exciting commute or road trip. Get ready to see minivan drivers look on with envy.

The last option is for the trend-setting type: the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. It has the shape of a coupe but 4-doors like a sedan. It also has two engines to decide on. There's either a 2.0L with 248 horsepower or the previously mentioned 3.0L turbo engine.

Interior Style

The cabin of a 3 Series matches the exterior style; it's high-end, well-designed, and is sure to be a conversation starter. We love the contrasting leather interior, brushed metal accents, and the Harman Kardon premium audio system. There's also available advanced safety technologies for assistance and a head-up display to keep you focused on the road ahead. We're also big fans of the wireless charging pad and wifi capabilities that your passengers will surely appreciate.
